Coastal Scenic Drive
Heading south of Noosa following the beach is a trip that can take an hour or a whole day. There are roads that follow the coastline almost all of the way to Caloundra and these feature countless beach access tracks, scenic lookouts and beachside cafés and restaurants.

Eumundi Markets
Less than half an hour along a scenic road inland from Noosa is the famous Eumundi markets. These are held every Saturday and Wednesday mornings in the main street and feature a large selection of local arts, crafts and fresh produce.


Mooloolaba and Underwater World
Mooloolaba has some of the most beautiful beaches on the Sunshine Coast with both surf beaches and a peaceful bay. It is 45 minutes from Noosa and is home to Underwater World. This tourist attraction includes a large oceanarium with transparent tunnels so you can get up close and personal with many sharks and fish. There are also shark dives, seal swims and shows, otters and many other animals.

Noosa Everglades
The Noosa Everglades is a unique ecosystem on the Noosa river which you can experience via boat cruises or canoeing. Both means of seeing the everglades guarantee stunning scenery and wildlife. Cruises leave from Noosa most days and to canoe you can start at Noosa or from further into the river system.

Fraser Island and Cooloola
Noosa is the gateway to the Great Sandy National Park which includes Fraser Island and beaches north of Noosa. There are many 4wd tours available from Noosa including day trips and longer.

Hinterland Tour
A self drive hinterland tour from Noosa in a hire car is a very rewarding experience. There are lakes, forests, mountains and farm lands within a leisurely hour or two drive as well as wineries, craft stores, roadside stalls and cafes. Some places worth looking at are Imbil, Eumundi, Borumba Dam, Amamoor Creek and Pomona.
